It was a memorable experience. Me and my friend joined this half day trip and we loved it! Our guide Meng and driver Michael were fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Siem Reap.

Jack, our English speaking tour guide, was amazing, as well as the driver. They showed up slightly earlier than scheduled. When found out that we were in the lobby waiting, they immediately picked us up and started the excursion. Though I didn’t realize when booking that this would be a private tour. They communicated about the $22/pp boat ride beforehand so there was no surprises. Jack also suggested us to take the canal ride which was $11/boat and fit up to 2 ppl. The entire experience was magical and you really got to get a glimpse of how people live. Jack was also helpful in answering all kinds of questions. Would definitely use him again for tours!

Our guide Captain Jack was awesome! He was super knowledgeable, funny and entertaining for the whole 6 hour tour. Bus was comfy and we were supplied with endless amounts of cold drinking water. Our driver, Mr James Bond was very good also. Would highly recommend

We booked an afternoon trip to a floating village about 40 minutes from central Seim Reap. Our guide Praim arrived on time, introduced himself and personally drove us to the village -Kompong Phluk. During the ride Praim candidly answered our questions about recent changes in Seim Reap and how recently the community at Kompong Phluk opened itself to the public. He was knowledgeable, professional, thoughtful in his responses and willing to accommodate several of our requests. We felt prepared for what we encountered at the floating village because of our conversation with Praim. Our car was only allowed so far, at which point we boarded a small motorized boat that took us to the center of Kompong Phluk some 20 minutes away. The stilted homes flanked the boats path and the entire community was on display. At the center of town we walked around because the road had not yet been submerged by the 7 feet of water brought by the rains. We then boarded a smaller boat and were paddled throughout a lagoon before viewing a pen where crocodiles were bread and raised. Our original boat took us out toward the open waters, but it began to rain and the water got very choppy; we leisurely returned to our car. Regardless of the water level throughout Kompong Phluk, visiting is a once in a lifetime experience. This small village will not remain as it is forever. Take advantage of the opportunity to see it as it is, while you can. Thank you Priam for an excellent tour!

Jack was absolutely brilliant and allowed us to have a really informative and enjoyable morning. He was extremely knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions, whilst coming across as super personable! The floating villages are unmissable and cannot recommend this highly enough!

For people reading this review and to avoid what happened to us , this tour is for when is rainy season , otherwise you will walk through the village and I was expecting to view the village by boat . Also there was no manglares to see as they were dry . So if you don’t mind taking a tour that will not meet your expectations just go in dry season as it is interesting to see the village and also the boat ride in the lake. The tour guide was very nice and accommodating as it was not his fault BUT if I had read somewhere what to expect in dry season I would had not book it Totally recommended in rainy season (I think 🤷♀️)

Absolutely amazing it has to be in the top of best tours ever. I was a little hesitant as it was dry season but it was wonderful. Saw the children in schools, playing in the street. What a simple wonderful way of life. Our tour guide Meng deserves 10 stars he was very informative easy to understand.

Our visit to the floating villages was a truly unique experience, made even better by our guides, Wèisal and March. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us real insight into the daily lives of the locals. The boat ride was peaceful and beautiful, and their stories made it all come alive. Highly recommend this tour

We appreciated and enjoyed most of this tour, but the "Market " section of t he tour was quite a disappointment since all the vendors had left for the afternoon. Definitely not comparable to the huge market in Siem Reap. Also, the charge is somewhat non-inclusive. The boat is an additional charge over the transportation/driver charge. Also, each guest in our party as well as the other tourists at the payment station was charged a different rate for the same exact tour. Perhaps investigate this issue. We learned a lot and for the most part enjoyed the excursion--just felt puzzled regarding the charges, and would not engage in the market/no market walk.

This is a great tour with a very knowledgeable and fun guide! We really enjoyed our afternoon and evening with Meng and our driver, “James Bond”. On time pickup from our hotel by a Tuktuk, which took us to a bus with 16 other individuals in the Old Market Siem Reap. Easy journey to the “floating village”, about a 35 minute drive. We were provided with cold waters on the way there and back. We were able to walk through the village to see homes and local children playing. We visited at the end of dry season, therefore the homes were not floating. According to our guide you usually stay on the canal side during the wet season so although the homes were not floating, we got a peek into the daily life of those who live in the village. We then boarded a boat and drove around for about 15 minutes before pulling up to the floating restaurant (about 1 hour chill) for beers and sunset and watching. Meng was an incredible host and guide. He shared with us many pieces of information about the village. Meng shared with my partner and I that he grew up in a nearby floating village so it was super special to hear his first person experience and how he connects with the local people. Highly recommend this tour, as it’s great value for the money!
